Kent began his operatic studies with Sue Ann Pinner at Santa Monica College where he
participated in their semester abroad program in Vienna, Austria. Kent debuted with
LAMet in 2009 singing Dr Grenville in La Traviata by Verdi. He has also performed with
the LAMet as Sciarrone and the Jailer and as the Armored Man in The Magic Flute.
